Introduction

OpenHAD (Open Human-AI Development) Methodology is an open and adaptive methodology designed for the Human-AI era, where humans and AI collaborate as complementary partners to learn, innovate, solve problems, and deliver value at a sustainable and consistent pace. It embraces the transformative capabilities of AI to enhance productivity, accelerate insights, automate routine work, and support decision-making, while recognizing that human judgment, creativity, ethics, empathy, and accountability remain fundamental to achieving meaningful, responsible, and customer-centric outcomes.

The methodology is built around three foundational components: Manifesto, Roles, and Events.

Together, these components establish a clear operating model that fosters human-AI collaboration, promotes transparency and continuous improvement, and enables organizations to balance speed, innovation, quality, and responsible delivery.

Purpose

OpenHAD is built to help organizations harness the combined strengths of humans and AI to create greater value, accelerate learning, foster innovation, and continuously adapt in a rapidly evolving world. It recognizes that the future of work is not Human versus AI, but Human with AI, where AI amplifies capabilities and humans provide creativity, ethics, empathy, judgment, accountability, and strategic direction. By embracing experimentation, continuous learning, and adaptive leadership, OpenHAD provides a practical and human-centered framework for delivering meaningful, sustainable, and customer-focused outcomes in the Human-AI era.
